An album cover and tour poster I created for Canadian DJ/Producer/Performer jpod thebeatchef's 2012 "Halfsteppin'" LP and US tour.
Jpod is known for his travelling basslines, and funky-fresh bounce. I wanted to bring that out of the typical washed-out colour palate that was pervasive in the scene, and push it a bit more electric-centric. His bass distortions on this album are nothign short of crackling, and I wanted the art of the album to communcate the unstoppable & infectious party motion that his music conveys.
